online Singing lessons
In my 10 years of teaching experience, one thing I’ve learned is that EVERYONE CAN SING!
I love working with adults who are looking to connect with their creativity and have some fun! By focusing on body awareness and vocal technique, I help my students to understand their habits and help them build healthy ones. By tackling the mental roadblocks as well as the physical ones, I guide my students to their most relaxed and authentic voice.
My teaching style is grounded in healthful singing technique, no matter the genre. I believe that finding the voice that feels authentic to you requires attention to the whole body. I work to create a safe and engaging environment that allows for organic growth.
Lessons take place via Zoom. You may record the sessions.

What can I Expect from my first online voice lesson?
When you sign up for your first lesson, you’ll receive an email with my Zoom meeting room link. Using headphones and an external mic will help to get the best sound possible. If you don’t have those things available, no problem! I’ll walk you through Zoom’s settings to get the best sound we can!
In our first lesson, I will get to know your vocal history, what styles of music you like to sing, and what your goals are. I will guide you through warmup exercises and assess what your strengths are, and where we can work together to improve. I will develop a personalized warmup routine to support your specific goals. We will chat about what kinds of songs you like to sing and start to develop a list of different songs to try.

Everyone’s goals and timelines are different! Becoming more aware of your technique, or losing yourself in a very emotional moment of a song can be great successes! Everyone’s journey looks different.
-
Weekly lessons are preferable. With any more time in between, it’s easy to forget what we were working on, or lose momentum with your practice.

Yes! I’ve been teaching online for several years, and love it. It’s wonderful for many reasons. You have no commute and can sing in the privacy of your own home! With the right Zoom settings and set up, we can optimize the sound quality, and have a productive lesson!
